Music was my first love….. I have a great love for music and culture in general. Since I was 18, I have mainly played as a bassist/singer in various bands with a wide range of music genres from pop, rock, jazz, and soul in the bands Blow Out, Frens Fraais, Bojangles, and currently alongside the Cohen Tribute Band, also Lieve Mannen. I enjoy participating as a solo singer in projects with big bands and prom concerts.

I also value the great importance using culture to socially connect and increase livability. I do this mainly in my own village of Middelbeers by organizing a variety of cultural events such as Rocktheater Moulin Rouge, Hartje Zomerfestijn, The Night Mayor Congress, and the Kubus Festival.

Professionally, the cultural sector has also taken on a significant role. I am committed to making the cultural sector more sustainable. Both in the social domain and the environment. After all, the cultural sector has often been at the forefront of many societal changes.

Cohen's music continues to amaze me more over the years. From 'I'll just go along with it', I am now touched by the music of which I get to be a part!
